Refund and Return Policy

At Teddy's Tallow Chips, we want you to love every crunchy bite of our small-batch, beef tallow-cooked potato chips. Because our products are fresh food items, we have a limited return policy designed to protect both our customers and the quality of our snacks.
Returns and Refunds
We accept returns or refunds only in the following cases:
- The product arrives damaged (crushed bag, leaking, etc.)
- The product is defective (wrong item shipped, clearly spoiled upon arrival, or manufacturing issue)
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind or "doesn't taste good to me"
- Opened, partially eaten, or consumed packages
- Products that have been stored improperly after delivery
Timeframe
You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to report a damaged or defective item. Returns requested after this window will not be accepted.
How to Request a Return or Refund
- Email us at support@teddystallowchips.com with your order number and photos of the issue (packaging, damage, etc.).
- Once we review and approve your request, we will provide instructions for returning the item (if needed).
- Ship the item back in its original packaging if possible.
Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original method of payment.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item (or upon approval for damaged shipments where return isn't required).
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged or defective due to our error. In those cases, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable shipping costs.
Non-Returnable Items
All food products are final sale once opened or if returned outside the 14-day window for eligible issues. Sale, discounted, or clearance items are also final sale.
Shipping Damage During Transit
If your package arrives significantly damaged by the carrier, please take photos and contact us immediately. We will work with the shipping carrier on your behalf and may issue a replacement or refund at our discretion.
